Rick "Goose" Gosselin reports that Bob Hayes has been nominated by the Hall of Fame seniors committee for the second time.

Hayes becomes only the fourth man nominated by the seniors committee twice. Two of the previous three were enshrined the second time.

It's hard to understand why Hayes, whose speed led to the invention of zone defenses, doesn't already have a bust in Canton. Better late than never.
