Laurent Robinson could be an X Factor this season...
Many of you may not have heard of the receiver the Cowboys just signed today - Laurent Robinson. I will give you a little background:
He has good size at 6'2, 194 lbs - not the power that Miles Austin and Dezs Bryant have (at 215 lbs and 220 lbs respectively) but good size for a receiver.
He has EXCELLENT speed - ran a 4.33 40 yard dash at the NFL combine in 2007 - faster than Rober Meachem of the Saints, Steve Smith of the Eagles and a lot of other notables.
He has experience playing as a starting WR in this league and actually was the Ram's leading receiver in 2009 before breaking his leg. He had a huge final preseason game for the Chargers with 6 catches for 120 yards.
Bottom line - he is someone who has demonstrated he can play in this league and could even be a solid starter if we had any injury issues at the WR position this year. I can tell you more about his technique, etc once we see him play but for now he seems to be a nice addition to this team...
