The NY Giants are holding their breath. Stud defensive end Osi Umenyiora, the Giants only Pro Bowler from last year's Super Bowl champion, had to be helped off the field after his left knee gave way Saturday night against the NY Jets. X-rays were negative, but the real test will be his MRI today.

The Big Blue is already without the retired DE Michael Strahan. This could be devastating for the Giants as Umenyiora has led the Giants in sacks the past four years.

UPDATE: Osi is done for the year and needs surgery to repair a torn lateral meniscus.
